Case Summary
Mexico Claim Against de Young Museum for Teotihuacan Murals
Précis
In this matter concerning a large collection of pre-Columbian murals from Mexico that were legally owned under U.S. law by a California museum but claimed by Mexico under its patrimony law, an imaginative solution was found to a potentially volatile situation.
