Leonardo: Rediscovering the Man and His Genius; An Illustrated Talk Followed by a Conversation
An illustrated talk by distinguished scholar and curator, Dr. Carmen Bambach, will be followed by a conversation between Dr. Bambach and Kenneth Soehner about Leonardo da Vinci's life and work, and Dr. Bambach's recently published 4-volume biography of the Renaissance genius. The program is part of a world-wide commemoration of the 500th Anniversary of the death of Leonardo, highlighted by a once-in-a-lifetime retrospective of Leonardo's art at the Louvre in Paris, from which Dr. Bambach will have just returned. This program is also one of several celebrating IFAR's own 50th Anniversary.
An edited version of this program will appear in a forthcoming issue of the IFAR Journal.
